"The docs made things way harder than they needed to be"
I tried using FooEvents and got stuck quickly. The docs felt kind of scattered, and they didn’t really explain things in a simple, straightforward way. I kept having to guess what I was supposed to do next, which got frustrating fast. Maybe it’s fine once you get the hang of it, but the learning curve was just too much for me. Not a great first experience.
"Check-in felt clunkier than it should’ve"
I used fooevents for attendee check-in, and maybe I was only noticing the stuff that got in our way, but it felt more annoying than I expected. A few names didn’t seem to update right away, and when the entry line got busy, the list was kind of a pain to manage. It did work eventually, but I mostly remember it slowing us down instead of making check-in smoother

"Works well for my WooCommerce setup"
I’ve been using this with my WooCommerce store and, for what I need, it’s been a smooth experience. Setup didn’t take much effort, and it fits into WooCommerce without feeling clunky. Tickets and orders show up in the places I’d expect, which makes it easy to keep track of things. I can’t say how it would handle a more complicated store, but for my setup, it works great.
"Quick, helpful support"
I had a small issue and reached out to support, and they got back to me quickly. From my experience, they were easy to deal with and actually helped get everything sorted without any hassle

"Nice ticket branding options"
I found the tickets really easy to customize, and the branding actually looks good once everything is set up.

"Solid ticketing tool, but the cost adds up"
I used FooEvents for a small event and, to be fair, it handled the basic ticketing stuff without any real issues. It was easy enough to get things set up and it did what I needed. That said, once you start adding extras, the price starts to feel a little steep. For bigger events it might make sense, but for smaller users like me, I’m not totally convinced the value is there.

"I tried using FooEvents for a ticket..."
I tried using FooEvents for a ticket setup, it felt a bit unfinished for what I needed. The basic event stuff was there, sure, but as soon as I wanted to tweak the flow even a little, I kept running into limits.
The settings felt rigid to me, and I found myself looking for workarounds for things I kind of assumed would already be built in. Maybe I was expecting too much, but it didn’t feel very flexible unless you start adding extra plugins or messing around with things.
I can see it being okay for really simple events, I guess. But if your setup is even slightly different from the default, it gets frustrating quickly, right? I wouldn’t choose it again for anything beyond the basics.

"Feels like the plugin has a mind of its own"
I’ve been trying to use this plugin for a while, but it keeps randomly crashing on me. It’s frustrating because it never seems to happen at a convenient time. I don’t know if it’s just poorly maintained or if they’re quietly nudging people toward some paid fix, but either way it doesn’t feel very stable right now
"Pretty easy to get set up"
Setup was quick and straightforward, and it’s been easy to use so far. any confusion during the process felt preventable if you just follow the instructions.
